A24 25mm 200mm 0.55 0.50 0.80 1.00 1.00 1.00 B 0.80 0.85

Sound absorption is measured in accordance with ISO 354.

Sound absorption data αp, αw and absorption class are calculated in accordance with ISO 11654. Sound absorption properties of islands and baffles are quantified by the equivalent sound absorption area Aeq expressed as m² per item.

Compare
Reaction To Fire Reaction To Fire A1 (EN 13501-1)
Reaction to fire is classified in accordance with EN 13501-1.
Light reflection and light diffusion Light reflection and light diffusion 85%
Light reflection expressed in % is measured in accordance with ISO 7724-2.
Humidity And Sag Resistance Humidity And Sag Resistance Up to 100% RH.
No visible deflection in high humidity.
ROCKFON ceiling tiles are dimensionally stable even at humidity levels of up to 100% relative humidity and can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C. They can be installed during the very early stage of the build (when windows are not fully sealed). Their lightweight yet stable non-hygroscopic character minimises the final weight of the fully-installed ceiling. ROCKFON ceiling tiles are predominantly classified as Class 1/C/0N in accordance with EN 13964. Certain module sizes (width above 700mm) are Class 2/C/0N.
Surface Durability Surface Durability Enhanced durability and dirt resistance.
The surface of some ROCKFON products is specially treated to provide enhanced durability and dirt resistance.
Cleaning Cleaning Vacuum, Damp cloth, Steam cleaning (twice a year), Chemical resistance: resistant to diluted solutions of ammonia, chlorine, quaternary ammonium and hydrogen peroxide
Vacuum: The surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment. Damp cloth: The surface can be cleaned using a damp cloth or sponge with a slightly alkaline detergent (pH between 7 and 9) without alcohol, ammonia or chlorine. This may render the surface slightly shinier, so we recommend cleaning the entire surface evenly.
Hygiene Hygiene Stone wool provides no sustenance to microorganisms
Stone wool provides no sustenance to the following microorganisms tested in accordance with JIS Z 2801:2000 and ASTM C 1338-96: – Escherichia coli – Staphylococcus aureus – Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) – Stachybotrys chartarum – Penicillium brevicumpactum – Alternaria tenuissima – Aspergillus niger – Sporobolomyces roseum – Rhodotorula rubra
Microbiological class M1 fulfilling the requirements of Zone 4 (very high risk) defined by NF S 90-351:2013. Tested with:
- Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA)
- Candida Albicans
- Aspergillus Brasiliensis
The bactericidal and fungicidal effect of dry steam cleaning meets the requirements of NF EN 14561 (> 5 log10) and NF EN 14562 (> 4 log10), meaning the disinfection is very effective.
Clean Room Classification Clean Room Classification 3
Clean room classification is measured in accordance with ISO 14644-1.
Bacteriological Class M1, NF S 90-351:2013
Air Pressure Air Pressure Suitable in areas where differential pressure is required.
When used in combination with closed neoprene foam tape and:
-HDC 2 for the 25 mm tile; or
-HDC 7 for the 40 mm tile,
the air leakage rate of less than 0.5m³/h/ m²/Pa under a pressure range of 5 to 40 Pa is achieved.
The amount of hold down clips (HDC) depends on the tile dimensions and the room size/shape.
For more information please contact customer service.
Environment Environment Fully recyclable stone wool
Indoor Environment Indoor Environment A selection of Rockfon products have been awarded the Finnish M1 emission classification for building materials and the Danish Indoor Climate Label for low emission products
